Plot:

Schoolboy Peter Cronk begins work experience at the surgery. He is enthusiastic and almost as pedantic as Martin himself but he has an ulterior motive for the placement that almost ends in disaster. Sally Tishell's husband Clive reappears after several months' absence, anxious to help her in the chemists though she is less than enthusiastic whilst Bert, hiding out on Ruth's land, attempts to recover the gear from his repossessed restaurant. Martin and Louisa attend a therapy session but it is the shared experience when one of her pupils falls ill that starts to ...
